Rishabh Mehrotra, Chair

Rishabh joins as Executive Chairman for Bolt, a CVC portfolio company. Rishabh also serves as a major shareholder and Director for Ascender HCM, a leading payroll and HCM provider in AustralAsia, where he previously led the acquisition and transformation of the business as the CEO creating a return of 17X in 2.5 yrs. Mr. Mehrotra was co-founder and Executive Chairman of Hit 100, a health management company focused on providing nutrition and clinical services to the disabled and aged care sector, and a Strategic Advisor to Pharmacord, a provider of patient services to the bio-pharma industry. He is a former consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he focused on growth strategies and M&A.

Mr. Mehrotra is a graduate of Tufts University, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Quantitative Economics and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.


Eric Gewirtzman, Chief Executive Officer

Co-founder of BOLT Solutions, Eric is a leading force for innovation in the insurance industry. Blending over 20 years of expertise with extensive experience in creating and delivering game-changing insurance-related products and services, he continuously strives to help carriers meet market demand and realize business growth in the face of significant disruption. Mr. Gewirtzman takes advantage of the lessons learned throughout a history of consulting top firms on ground-breaking technology implementations, to give today’s carriers a competitive advantage and stronger growth.

Mr. Gewirtzman studied computer science and economics at Tel Aviv University, and has an engineering degree in aerodynamics and mechanical engineering from the Israeli Air force Academy.


Ari Katz, President

Leveraging an extensive insurance and technology background, Ari co-founded BOLT Solutions with Eric Gewirtzman in 2000. Prior to BOLT, Mr. Katz was co-CEO and co-founder of Shadow Computers Ltd., a successful insurance software development company. There, Ari both created and led the team of technology innovators in bringing cutting edge technologies from other sectors into the insurance marketplace. Mr. Katz previously served as an officer and software engineer in the R&D division of the Israeli Army Intelligence, specifically with experience in secure transaction and information relay systems.

Mr. Katz received an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc. with distinction in electronic engineering from the Technion, Israel's leading technological institute.


John Clark

Managing Partner and CEO of CVC Growth Partners investment advisory, joined CVC in 2014. John is based in New York. Prior to joining CVC, he worked at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe serving as a general partner for the Information & Business Services group and as a member of the management committee.

Mr. Clark holds a BA degree in computer science from Princeton University and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.


Aaron Dupuis

Senior Managing Director, joined CVC in 2014. Aaron is a member of the CVC Growth Partners team and is based in New York. Prior to joining CVC, he was a principal at Serent Capital, where he led the firm's business and tech-enabled services efforts.

Mr. Dupuis received a BA cum laude in economics from Williams College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.


Omar Shalaby

Investment Director, joined CVC in 2016. Omar is a member of the CVC Growth Partners team and is based in New York. Prior to joining CVC, he worked at Folger Hill Asset Management; Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe; and Barclays in New York.

Mr. Shalaby received a BS summa cum laude in international economics from Georgetown University.


Matthew Foley

Investment Executive, joined CVC in 2015. Matt is a member of the CVC Growth Partners team and is based in New York. Prior to joining CVC, he was an analyst at Lazard where he focused on M&A and strategic advisory assignments within the technology sector.

Mr. Foley graduated summa cum laude from Boston College with a BS in management and a BA in mathematics.


Robert Lichten

Robert has been Co-Chairman of Inter-Atlantic Group since 1994 and is a member of Inter-Atlantic Group’s investment committee. Previously, Mr. Lichten was Managing Director at both Smith Barney Inc. and Lehman Brothers Inc., where he concentrated on capital raising and providing merger and acquisition advisory services to financial institutions. Mr. Lichten was also formerly Executive Vice President of The Chase Manhattan Bank. During his 22 years at Chase he was a senior corporate banker and was in charge of worldwide capital planning. Mr. Lichten served as a Lieutenant in the United States Air Force and received the Air Force Commendation Medal for his work in solid rocket propulsion systems.

Mr. Lichten holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Manhattan College and an M.B.A. from New York University.


Ami Dotan

Ami has more than 28 years of extensive experience in developing communication systems and leading software and state-of-the-art technology entities. In 2000, Mr. Dotan co-founded Neurone Ventures II, which later became PNV (Platinum Neurone Ventures) a $105M, Israeli VC Fund.  In the last 10 years Mr. Dotan served as Chairman of three private companies and as a director for eight public and private companies. Mr. Dotan had a leading role in the IPO of CMT Medical, the acquisition of Xosoft by Computer Associates (CA) and the acquisition of Shellcase by Tessera.

Mr. Dotan holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, (1976) and an MBA from Long Island University (1979) in New York.

 
 

Charles Luchs

Charles is an experienced authority in the international insurance community. Mr. Luchs dedicated 37 years of work to The Chubb Corporation, from 1965 until his retirement as Chief Underwriting Officer in 2002. He launched his career with Chubb in the company's Personal Insurance Division, was promoted to Chief Underwriting Officer in 1988, and Co-Chief Underwriting Officer in 1994. In 1996, Luchs was named Chief Underwriting Officer of the corporation.

Mr. Luchs graduated from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. After his undergraduate studies, he served as a U.S. Army Corporal in Paris, France. Following his service abroad, he pursued graduate education at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
